yea you would have to modify the tranny tunnel beacuse u are moving the cab lower so ofcoarse you would have to but id think it is possible to do it the way i mentioned, but hey its my truck and my ideas just wanted someone elses thought about it.

Theres enough room to stock floor a Mazda to the pinch wthout cutting the tranny tunnel. You will have ot modify your transmission crossmember and the carrier bearing crossmember assuming your truck had one. Thats all worked into the one week schedule. It only takes a few hours to make a crossmember.

I was going to ask the same question before starting our sfbd....It seemed so much easier but in the end there would still need to be a lot of work done. Making your own crossmemebers and everyhting doesnt take to much time.

well on mine we built a new frame under the truck with 2/2 1/4 wall tubing and we also had to bring the front cab mounts inside the cab about an inch because there aint enough room to move them down 3"s, also we did a 1" z just to make sure it will lay on a 20. we had to build a new tranny tunnel and we also had to channel the floor for the frame, we built a new tranny crossmember and a new carrier bearing crossmemeber other than that ill have to post later my mind is goping crazy ..ed.customs .low intentions 4 life
