I found these while browsing around on ebay. Might be a solution to the toyota tie rods...

That will definitely work. Just make sure it gets the amount of travel you need. For probably a little more money you could have that machined and use a bigger heim with high misalignment spacers to give you a lot of travel.

Or, you could just bore the tie rod hole in the spindle straight and use a grade 8 bolt and cut down on the overall cost completely and probably get everything for around $60-70. You can get everything at Ballistic Fab.


I tried something similar to that on a friends truck, and it did not get enough travel to lay out and lift. You will only get about 30 degrees of articulation out of a heim squeezed between two flat planes. Your suspension will travel much more than that on a bagged truck. Just something to think about.

Or use johhny joint bearings.... and you you really want EBAY crap being the only thing keeping the steering on your truck straight and you alive?????
