ive seen some guy on here make his own mounts, but they werent angle iron. if you do this, take lots of pics...and this wouldnt be a bad time to fix some camber issues either i suppose you really couldnt mess anything up, just shim the arm either way to get it back where its supposed to be

I made those mounts for my mazda. They were pretty simple to make, i made a jig to locate the holes and took alot of measurement before i cut the old mounts off.

Awesome, looks like you have the cando/grant control arms, thats what i want to do too! It looks really clean, me likey thanks

Hey JsnPdy22 the upper control arm mounts look good, what spindles are you running? I've got a set of the Cando arms with S10 ball joints and need to enlarge the taper for the stock spindles to fit.

JsnPdy22, I'm sure its easy enough for us to go and take measurements ourselves, but do you think you could give us the specs and dimensions to build a set of these mounts?

mazdapromp3, im using a 2 inch drop mazda spindle. I bought a tapered reamer bit and tapered the hole myself. The reamer is 2 inch per foot or 10 degree taper. There is a place called XKUT that sells them.

joshbrennan, i tacked two pieces of scrape metal to the frame, one to the left of the mount and one to the right of the old mount, then got my measurements from them. I did this because there really isnt anywhere to get a measurement from the old mount. So it would be hard for me to give you the measurements because of the way i set them up. The mount itself measures 17/8x3 inches. I have a picture of the jig i made to relocate the holes somewhere if you need it.

If could post the picture that would be cool, thanks.
