What size of u bolts do i need to put 3" blocks on my truck, i need to know asap so let me know thanks guys
usually when you buy blocks the bolts come with it, but id wager you need ones that are about 3.5" longer than your stock ones to be safe
if i remember rite the stock ones are 7'' so u need 10. i had csutom ones made at a spring place for my 4'' blocks and the way they did it was 7 (stock) + 4 (block) x 2 + 3 (axle width)
(7+4)x2 = 22+3=25" long U bolt.
the spring place took a 24" rod and bent it but also stretched it until it was 25" like a madrel bender. istead or crushing it to shape it they streched it.
so to answer ur question u would need a 10'' u bolt from say canadian tire or the american equivalent or if u go to a spring place u would need a 22'' rod made into a u bolt.
