By the looks of it the bottom bars are 2x2x1/4 wall and the tops are 1x 1/4 wall as he is using a 3/4 treaded ends. Also looks like he's using a S-10 rear end.

Sorry for any assumption of thread jacking, but this is a perfect example to ask: Is the shocks mounted on the link bars? This is a bag on bars setup, right? I just don't understand how it works. The link bars are not supposed to move, right? Cause if you inflate/deflate on bars, do they pivot?

the bars and axle move up and down in relation to the frame. the shocks will work, but not as well as if they were mounted straight frame to axle

and my answer to the question is... either 2x3 or 2x4.
and those upper link bars gotta be bigger than 1"

those upper bars might be 1 1/2 but I don't think so as the treaded ends are so small and that would mean the thickness would be like 3/4 wall if they were 1 1/2

I have a 1 1/2" upper wishbone with 3/4" threads. Its called a tube adapter.

That tubing looks like 2x3 to me, judging by the way the tabs mount to it.
