Well,I got some AIM spindles, and spent a good chunk of the day with v8mazda installing them.
Result: Ride quality is fantastic and fixed my massive negative camber issue, which was chewing up my brand new 2 week old tires. The insides are like slicks!!
Negative points: Pushed the wheels WAY out. We lowered the truck off the jack and the tires were hitting the fenders. I did about 16 turns of the torsion bars to crank em up a bit and I got enough clearance to stick 2 fingers, one ontop of the other between the tire and fender. As we drove home, every bump and turn made the tires rub on the fenders,so we had to pull over and yank on the fenders to make a little clearance. After we did that they were alright, and only rubbed a couple times on some big bumps and some sharp turns.
I'm running a 205/50/17 tire,so it's not really that wide,but with how much they've moved out,going to 4x4 fenders doesn't seem like a bad idea at all.
Otherwise, the spindles and ball joints installed and fit very well. The spindles are very heavy and look very strong, and the ball joints are really beefy.
Overall,I am very impressed, because now my camber is corrected and the ride is much, much better, but we're just trying to figure out what to do about the rubbing and the torsion bars.
