18x8 with 31mm offset... tuck?

I have a chance to pick up a set of 07 GMC wheels for $125, but want to know if they will tuck. They are 18x8 with a 31mm offset. Does anyone know if they will tuck with 2wd fenders?

Highly unlikely. The wheels I'm looking at are 18x8 +50mm offset and they are barely going to tuck.

If you have enough negative camber up front, and you flare your bedsides they'll tuck.

Yeah I was wondering cause the 17" x 7.5" Denali wheels tuck just fine with a 31mm offset and these are 18x8 with denali wheel with the same offset. I understand they are 1/2" wider, but didnt think it would make that much of a difference since it will only be a 1/4" difference from the center.

I'm not sure how thick the center of the wheel is, but maybe I can get a few mm milled off of them while I am having them bored out. I guess that depends on how much I can take off safely if any at all.

EDIT: maybe I will try and find a wheel shop that might have a set someone traded in and do a test fit... To be continued... lol
