ok i remember talking about this before but it has been a while and don't feel like looking through miles of threads.

is it best to bag the front on 2" drop spindles or 3" lower control arms? i ask because i have the 3" djm lower control arms and if i need the drop spindles than i will make the change.

I find that using the drop spindles does save you on tire wear but does cause some serious problems when getting rims as the spindle does kick out the tire about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch. And the control arms cannot be used as the bag can't sit properly as the lower ball joint will rub on the bag.

are you saying that it is best to bag on stock spindles and stock control arms?

i bagged mine on djm lower control arms and mine don't rub on the ball joint...they do rub on the frame a little but i am goin to notch the frame in a little with 4x2 box tubing cut in half when i get around to it...truck is sitting in garage waiting for 4.3 vortec, so bags don't rub now!!

I drove it for over a year with them rubbing and never had a blowout...just bought new bags before the did

No I would use the drop spindles, I was just trying to give some insight about your tire package first but I have the spindles myself and also am going to be using cando's control arms as I will be rolling some day on 20's.You just can't use the lower control arms from DJM as the postion of the lower balljoint will rub on the bag.

Ya thats cool but what about when you are layed out.

the ball joint doesn't touch at all when it is laid out...the frame barely touches when it is laid out but like i said i am just going to notch it in with 4x2 box tubing cut in half and it will be perfect

Do you have pics of it layed out I have a couple of guys that told me that it just wouldn't work and I told them I could make it work so if you put up pics I can get them to keep there djm arms and finish bagging they're trucks.
