Ya would be great if I still had them! They got tossed when my buddy moved I was pissed. If I want to get some a a wrecking yard it will be even more unsafe jacking up a truck thats on its drums and rotors already and try to remove them I just need to bag the damn thing and run manual valves for now till I can afford a good setup. If anybody has some torsions they want to donate that they dont need I'll pay for the shipping! lol

immortal & grav make a good point, no t-bars is unsafe, but since they are gone any how, you could gusset & strengthen/modify the upper shock mount & get some coil over shocks for a hot rod (shorter), i have thought about doing this to mine so i don't jerk my t-bars off again since i will be riding a real low static drop.....summit racing sells them, @ $100 a shock & $40 a spring, so you'd be looking @ $300 time you pay shipping, but would give a deffinately better ride! but hey, you could always spend that money on bags for the front too...

Wait, when I read it, did you say you don't run torsions when you bag it?

No I wouldnt run torsions if I bagged it. I need to get another truck for a daily. I found a 1991 b2600 4wd for 1700. I wouldnt mind having it cause I do alot of camping and fishing It would set me back on operation bag my truck though

I wonder if I could go to the wrecking yard and find some springs and make my own coilovers...hmmm. But my rear bumps are still resting on my frame....

you could use a front strut assembly off of a car, say maybe a focus or other small car, but it would require some modifications to the upper shock mount as the will all be too long more than likely to fit with the truck being so low....as far as the rear, c-notch will be in order to get the frame off the bumpstops
