Whats happening here? Sound of clanging metal.. :|

Ok so..I've been trying to pinpoint this problem for a while, and i finally thought i fixed it today.

The noise all started about 2 weeks ago when i decided my truck wasn't low enough..so i cranked the bars even more. ok. cool. truck sits pretty badass now.

drove pretty good for a couple weeks, then all of a sudden i let off the gas and "TiiiNKKKK". weird. It continued to do that until today, when i thought that when i heard this "TiiiNKKKK" everytime i shifted i thought itd be a u-joint.

well...pull the driveshaft tonight, get ready to put a new one in and hey..theyre all perfect? hmm how strange. grease all the ujoints...put it back in...drive, and its still doing the same thing.

i thought it was because im so low in the front now. well, i tightened the torsions 4 full turns, to where i was originally and i still here this gaddamn "TiiiNKKKK".

Any ideas???

Dude check your u bolts. I had an ex cab that did that when I first bought it. Used and all well I drove it for like 4 days then when I went to lower it (static I was broke) I realized that the u bolts were almost not on any more. kinda scary since I had my kid wit me and all.

shit..forgot to mention that i had one side u bolts off one day..i was trying to monoleaf. thanks alot man ill double check em.

could be your diff locking up? Mine did one day and scared the sh*t out of me
