yes you will need one, but a lot of shops wont even touch your truck because technically its not safe to drive. so its liability issues for them

yeah my dad was talking about that there is a form u can fill out saying there not liable

ok say when u take the torsions off do u take them off completly from the lower a-arm and put a bolt in place to hold the lower control arm or do u cut it right before the bracket that holds the a-arm, i hope i made sence. thanx

you remove them totally....but you won't have any travel in the suspension, and will be sitting on the bump stops......hit a hard pothole or the like, and you could end up with a bad alignment problem, or worse....bent frame.....the t-bars have an adjustment bolt on one end, and are in a coupler that is bolted to the lower c arm on the other,,, if you remove the adjustment bolt from the end towards the back of the truck, the t-bar will slip out of the coupler.....advice before you remove it from the coupler, mark both the t-bar, and coupler with something very visible, that way when you reinstall it, you will know where the splines align to.....

So I could pull the torisions off since I'm already on cut bumps up front? It would only be driven for about a month before starting work on the bags. How much damage would this cause and are you really that likely to screw up the frame or is that just a worse case scenario. One of my torsions is hanging about half an inch of the ground from hitting a huge speed bump in a parking garage (not reindexed) lol so I wan't to jus pull them off instead of tryin to bend it back. Right now I'm just drivin it as is and I scrape everytime I hit the brakes.
