Hey guys.I just bought a cab plus b2200 in really good shape and im planning on doing some custom mods to it.I was wondering how low i can drop the torsion bars before the bolt threads are done?If i go to far will i be able to torque bolt back in someone please help.Thanks i will post new pics of the truck asap.

You should be able to get a good amount of drop, the only down side if you crank them enough that you sit on your bumpstops your ride will be worst then ever...plus your shocks will take a beating, espically the stock ones. but you can make 17"s hug the fender nicely and still have a decent ride quality...thats what i did before, need pictures, Just ask. or PM me.

You can re-index your torsion bars and cut out the bump stops. but it depends on how far you want your truck to sit off the ground.

what does re indexing them do? Does that keep the stock spring rate but at a lower ride height (without bumpstop obviously)? and what would be the difference as to just loosening them?

it keeps the brackets from scraping the ground it doest change the spring rate at all
