what holds my lower arm in place?? To me it seems like the torision bars holding it in place and im trying to remove the torision so i can get ready to bag it. Do i have to remove it and put a different bolt through it.

there is a front arm that holds the lower arm in place the torsion bar is what gives you lift for your truck.

the torsion bar isnt what hold the lower control arm in place. it just holds the control arm up to act as suspension. you can remove and just ride on the bumpstops

He's bagging it, he won't be riding on bumpstops.

The torsion bar is just a spring. The locator for the lower arm goes from the front of the arm forward to the frame. When you bag it the airbag is the spring, so there's no need for your torsion bars anymore, you can take them off and you don't have to replace any of the bolts that were holding them on. The arms arms themselves are bolted to the crossmember.

i know all that stuff i think i didn't ask the question right. What i was trying to ask was where the torision is bolted to the lower arm, theres 2 bolts on the back of the arm, but after those 2 bolts it seems like its running through the arm and frame and holding the lower arm on the piviot point. Bassically if i totally remove my torisions will anything come off with them or no??? and i just ordered my bags right now and should be here in about a week. This site is awsome ive been reading articles on here for about a year now and have a way better understanding on mazda trucks.

No if you remove the 2 bolts nothing will fall off except the torsion bar and will probably have to give it a whack to get it off.

thank you cuz i had someone bet me that the whole lower arm was going to fall of and i just wanted to make sure.

Nope, the bolts that hold the lower arms on, are farther in from the torsion bar mount.
