does anyone know the bolt diameter, pitch, and length that it takes to mount the lower mount on a slam bag? the idiot i bought my 83 from didn't mount the driver side bag. i have been driving it this whole time without a freaking bolt. i never noticed it until today, i went to jack up the truck to pull the tires off and wahlah no bolt. the passenger side has a bolt so i am guessing maybe the drivers side may have just backed off and fell out. i have to use the very center mount hole too. i could use the outer 2 mount holes but i will have to drill some holes. thanks in advance.

Its your choice really...depends on the setup, i'd use the Center one... I'm not sure the bolt diameter, pitch, and length that it takes, but it wouldnt take much to take out the other one, go to the store and find one... Might be able to find it online as well...

They are just standar 3/8 bolts.... and I believe about an inch should do...maybe an inch and a 1/4

thats right 3/8 grade 5 bolt and it should be 1 1/4 so it fits all the way in with the steel plate in line with it.

3/8" coarse thread. Run grade 8 and a lock washer, 1 1/4" long if the bracket is 3/16" or less. You want between 3/4" and 1" of threads inside the bag.
