Ok Im getting ready to bag my 87 b2000 standard cab. I measured from my frame to the ground and its 3.5 inches. I then measured from the top of my one piece drive line to the bottom of the drive line tunnel. It was 3 inches. Am I going to have to fab a new tunnel to be able to layout? My buddy says it won't be an issue cause the back of the frame will drop more than the back of my cab will. This is my first bag project and I want to do everything right the first time. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance.

On the Mazda cab, theres a little lip at the back of the cab where the tunnel is. It hangs down about 5/8" and I would beat the shit out of that thing until it sits right up against the floor. Don't cut it, because your cab could potentially split there, just bend it up and out of the way.

But you may want to consider, if you drive it with the ass end on the ground and the front up high, the drive line is going to come up higher than normal. Unless your axle bottoms out right when you lay, but I like to leave a little extra play so you can drive low and not bottom out. If thats the case, you might have to notch the cab. But its really not very hard at all.

Sorry man I just pm'ed ya for no reason! lol
What would I have to do to notch the cab without cutting?

I'll try the pounding idea first. Sometimes it's good to beat on stuff with a big hammer. Gets the stress out.
