im new here and to mazda's. Im going to be trading my truck for a mazda bagged on 18s. I will be putting 20s on it. Basicly im looking for info on back spacing and offset that tuck.
Also Should I do the toyota lug swap?

If you don't mind trying to find 6 lug wheels that will fit, which isn't too hard then I wouldn't do the swap.

But if you are thinking that you will want more of a selection of wheels then doing the swap isn't a bad idea. It will open up a lot more options wheel wise.

And you could get rear axle from a vehicle that had disc brakes, and boom then you have 4 wheel disc and a 5 lug...the best of both worlds...

Good luck in your venture, and welcome to the site!

Its nice to see another getting into the BScene....

throwing 20s on is the easy part, redesigning the whple setup to make it lay on 20s is a little different story...

welcome to the scene bro

got my frame laying on a 285/25-22 tire right now. it consisted of pie cutting upper arms, notching lower arms, making anotherside so it looks like an a-arm on the bottom z'd front 1 1/2 inchs narrowed it 2 1/4 inchs on both sides so 4 1/2 inchs overall. thats with stock spindles as well. im raising the upper arm an inch and extending it about a half inch to get rid of the tremendous amount of negative camber. or i may slap on a drop spindle. i dont know yet.

the back is narrowed 9 inchs overall. oh the wheel is a 6 lug diablo delta force 22x9.5

i dont know how to post pic's. heres my myspace address thow.

the pics i have up are kinda in rough form of the plating on the z, and being narrowed. no pics of the rear end narrowed yet. its really rough and by NO means done yet in these pics. i will get some better and up to date pics this weekend. and the 22 in the picture has a 285/35-22 tire that tire is 29.9 inchs tall. the 285/25-22 is 27.6 inchs tall. the center of my hub in the front is at 15 3/4inchs off the ground when laying frame. and the center of a 285/25-22 is at 13.8 so i should be fine with the camber change it has now. my tires should be here anytime thow. so i know some people are going to hate on my work, but im going to say again by no means is it done.
