compression are good, i like em cheap and seal perfect long as they go str8 in, push are alright, only a solid seal first time though, after that they suck..

Push fittings do well too. I Run all push fittings on my nissan with no problems. the thing ive noticed that is important on the push fittings is that you need to try to cut the line as straight as possible for them to seal good.

If you get good DOT PTC push fittings, they are great, but they do wear out quickly with repeated use. They do make roadside repairs a lot easier though, and get the metal ones the plastic shit is just that shit. I do prefer compressions though, they seal better, can take more pressure, and can be re used with a new collar and ferrule.

Compression Fittings are way better than PTC imo....

Just my 2 cents....

I like PTC's better, never had a problem with re-using them either. If you go compression make sure you use DOT approved ones and not some from the hardware store.

cool thanks for the opinions.I have compression fittings i got from avs, but there a pain in the ass.I just revamped an air set up on my buddies dakota and he had all push fittings and i liked the ease of them.

I like PTC's way better than the compression fittings as I have always used them and never had aproblem with them but it comes down to what you like and for compression fittings you always need to have extra colars around and everytime you change it you have to cut down the line.

i've used compression fittings, plastic PTC and Metal PTC. i like them all. the metal PTC seal better than the plastic, but i haven't really had a lot of problems with any of them. i do have a slow airleak tho... i'd blame an unsquare cut on the line going into the fitting though.

PARKER PTC is the only thing i'll use. best shit on the market by far.
