i tacked my 4 link together and the pinion angle stays the same from ride height to ask much lift as possible but when it lays out the pinion anlge changes. any ideas on what i did wrong??? o and it angles downward when laid out. so its stays the same about more than 3/4 of the way and then about less than 1/4 way from laying it starts to change.

yeah pics will help a lot. sounds like the front mounts might be too close together, or the upper bar too short or angled down too much? hard to say.
are your bars parallel with the ground at ride height?

mine does the opposite. Pinion is perfect at ride height and at full drop. but i got 13" of lift.. i set my ride height with the frame 8" off the ground. after about 10" thats when the pinion angle changes... sounds to me like your upper links are longer than your lowers.. pics would help

I rhought the link bars were supposed to be the same length?

its a triangular 4-link with the upper bars going from near the center of the axle towards the outside of the frame \/. Yes my bars are level with the ground at ride height. and my upper bars and lower bars meat up at the same spot(like same distance front to back but uppers are oviously longer cuz of the angle.) and for pics i don't know how to post on here but i know that i have to put them on photobook first.

You did nothing wrong you will have some change in pinion angle but as long as it is true at ride hieght you are fine. On most of the rides I build I get some change in pinion angle but set your pinion at ride hieght and let it rip.

Depends on how much change it is. Really you shouldn't get more than 2-3 degrees change. And you can build a setup with 0 degrees of change. The Mazda I did gets 0 degrees of change through 20 inches of travel.

to post pics you need photobucket, flickr or cardomain, or any other pic host that you can upload to. then in the 'post a reply' page just above where you type there's a row of buttons for bold, italics, underline, and so on... then there's a button that says img. thats for image. you need to click the button or just put [img ] in front and [ /img] behind the link to the photo. and you're done.
