i dont think they have to be bored out
i think you grind the tabs down on them

dont quote me as ive never owned a set.

they could be done either way
i personally grinded my tabs, free for me and easier

Did you have any problems with them fitting other than having to grind down the tabs...and what did you do on the front?
twisted minis   +1y
Grinding the tabs is kind of ghetto. Those are there to help support a load, and take some stress off the lug nuts and studs.

But, the number you are looking for is 3.90".

what do you mean 3.90?

The number he is telling you is how big the bore hole needs to be..
mazda86   +1y
you mean the hole where the centere cap goes?
toddluck   +1y
i ground my rear tabs and got spall 1/4 inch spacers for the front ...from the local auto parts store....you will also need bullhead lug nuts

Im pretty sure you have to bore the hole (3.90 as TwistedMinis said) highlighted in the blue in the picture below, I do know on my truck i 4runner wheels and the center hole dont even come near the tabs. Toddluck mentioned the taped lug nuts cause they will center the wheel to the hub....Someone please speak up if I am wrong. Hope I helped.
