sorry but you need the bottom to run them. with the asco valves you hook one side to the box and the other 2 as your ground I will put up pics on how i run them with the plug tomorrow.

That last 4 digits is the solenoid part #, so you just have a different solenoid than any of the ones listed in that particular brochure. I would guess the valves are pretty good since they're made for industrial applications like Parker and SMC. Also Herion may have been bought by Norgren because when searching for Herion on Yahoo I kept getting led to Norgren.

Yeah, those are old Heroin valves...really nice valve. I haven't seen a set of those around in a few years.

You don't need the bottom to run them. You just need power on one side and ground on the other, the bottom stays empty. All you're doing is energizing the coil in the solenoid. The bottom tab is for grounding the solenoid to the valve body, eliminating a secondary ground wire. I've seen it done, and it works fine, but it's definately not the best method to ensure a proper ground. Pretty much all 3-prong valves (Asco, Heroin, GC, Blitzluft) are set up this way.

The Nissan I am working on right now has a full set. They are not SMC, ASCO, or GC. However, most valves look the same for the most part at the housing. Its a standard design for a diaphragm valve. So saying they ripped off another company is incorrect. Its a standard design, and a lot of valve companies use some of the same parts.
