I recently lowered my b2000 and i noticed that when i turn sometimes i see the wheel move in and out, like the axle is shifting a little when i turn. any help would be great. thanks

Info: front- cranks torsions
rear- removed two leafs, so i have 1 leaf and the helper on top of 3" blocks.

Assuming the U bolts are tight, one thing that may cause this is if everything is indexed correctly. What I mean is one the leaf spring pac, ther is a bolt that holds everything together. The 3" block has a hole in the bottom to fit over the bolt. It also has a pin sticking out the top to index into the rear axel. If any of this is missing, then the axel can shift side to side.

no that bolt/pin is in place. I did remove the bumpstop completely. So should i just cut id down and put that back in. Or do that not make a difference

your spring bushings could be bad as well

did you keep the bottom overloader spring and the main? Could be spring bushings gone yep...

yes the spring overload is still there. I did remove the bump stop completly, including the bracket it is on.

the reason you have rear movement is that toddluck is right your bushings are shot and you have play. I had this in one of my rides years ago and after putting in new bushings and bolts it stopped. Also remember to go back and tighten your u-bolts after you drive for awhile.

i have already lowered the front on mine and starting the rear 2morro my questions are is a monoleaf safe, and i know i have to keep the main spring that connects to the shackle which other if any springs do i need to keep

keep the overload short thick bottom one, and get air shocks to control the lowered ride...

guys stop with the one leaf and over load spring it is not safe and with the laws out there now messing with the spring pack can get you pulled off the roads it is un safe. As I have said before go to your local spring shop and get your spring set de-arched. you will have a nicer ride when driving around and you will be low.
