Ok guys,

I'm new to the mini scene, so what's the best way to drop my first gen B2000? It's an '84 longbed with coils up front. I plan on just blocking the back, but what to do up front? It's gonna be a daily, so I don't want to drag it or put air on it. Is there a certain coil that I can use up front with little hassle?

Please don't chime in with "Just cut the coils" or "Just torch it". I'd really like to have a little bit of ride. Thanks in advance.

you can cut one coil out and still have a good ride.... or you can search for lowering springs for the coil overs.... goodluck

toddluck:

I know if I call to order Toxic shocks for a lowered '84 the guy on other end of the phone is probably gonna pee himself from laughing. Are the 2nd gen shocks the same? I want to at least SOUND like I know what's going on when I try to get the parts gathered LOL

As much as I'd like to have someone "whacked" in exchange for this truck, that won't be necessary. I would take $400 cash American dollars for it as is. I will throw in the extra carb I have for it. It does have a new fuel pump as well. Located about 75 miles Southeast of St. Louis, MO. Come get it....
