how hard would it be/how much would it cost to lift an 87 b2000? i dont want a body lift. just the suspension and stuff. would tightening the torsion bolt lift the front? and would flipping the axel to being on the bottem of the leafs lift the rear? or are those really stupid ideas? just need suggestions. thanks

torsions in the front. thats the only way i know of without a front end suspension swap. i wish i could get more out of it. and rear, i have ine about 4-5" higher than stock with air shocks, pumped all the way up. but you can buy axle flp kits. just search it, the best i member is for 5" lift in the rear, its $110 and for 7 its $130. good luck. -bf

thanks. i found the rear flip kits. but how much do you think the front would raise if i tightened the torsion bolts all the way? and i'm guessing i would need new shocks too, right?

ah im runnin an 87 on stock front shocks. as far as how much lift, i donno because i was low (see me pic under my post) now im id guess 3" over stock and im up as high as i could go. -bf

ok so i tightened the front. not all the way but a couple turns. the truck sits like 1 inch higher now. but i have a problem. the right side is higher than the left and i didn't tighten the right side as much as i did the left. why is that?

ok now i tightened the bolts all the way and the right side is about 3/4" higher than the left? is this because my left shocks are worn or something?

raise the torsions and add ball joint spacers. or you can add a straight front axle conversion.
