looking into getting 235/75/15 tires for my grey truck. Overall diameter is 28.8",whereas stock 205/75/14 is 26.1"

Is there anything specific I need to do to make these tires clear in the front end with little to no rubbing?

While we're on this subject, what is the stock tire size for a B2600 4x4? If it's 235/75,what's the difference in the basic front suspension to make them clear?

Thankkkks

the 4x4 sits higher stock, the fenders make a difference cuz they have a larger opening

if your going to a bigger tire on the truck your probably gonna have to lift the truck a bit

well yeah,I'm figuring it will require a bit of a lift, but what will i need to do in the front other than crank the torsion bars up? Will putting in different shocks help? I've got no experience lifting trucks.

I need to know asap because I have a set of 235/75 Goodyear Workhorse A/T's on Black Pathfinder rims that I can pick up in Kitchener for $350 after new year's.

Should I keep my 4x4 fenders?

im not sure but mine is almost maxed out in the front but im ridin firm....real firm so i got under there today and looked around and im settin on the upper bumpstop mount, this will help me and mikey by askin if its safe to cut the whole mount off, so mikey can have a better ride and i can get higher
thanks -bf

ken over at mazdatruckin was making some 1 inch balljoint spacers to give you about 1 inch of lift in the front. maybe you can ask around over there a bit.

Hey,yeah that sounds good. I'm registered over there, just don't go often. I've read about the spacers. Hmm...those might just work. I'll go over there and ask.

no openions about the upper bs mount cuttin?? -bf

i wouldnt cut them the control arms need to stop some where, it might pull on hte brake flex line when you go over a big bump

ball joint spacers seem to be the best way to go, ive go them in my 4runner, and it hasnt changed anything with the ride quality i also cranked the torsions just a little too, to make it a 2" lift

the only thing you'll have to do is make them your self or a machine shop do it, and when your putting those in might as well change the balljoints while your there

National4wd sells balljoint spacers and they're $140 for the set. One of the guys on Mazdatruckin from Burlington said he picked up a set for the Mazda. I think I might do that. Balljoints are cheap anyways.

I'm gonna do this right, since I'm going to log a lot of miles on the truck. How does all new shocks sound, new balljoints, spacers and cranked torsions sound?

Anything I should do with the leafs?

I never remove the bump stops. I just trim the shit out of them.

Shocks wont lift your truck, but new shocks are never a bad idea ride wise. For a mild lift, cranked torsions should work. Just don't forget the alignment.
