2600 bag in front

so im trying to decide on what size bag to go with in the front. i know the 5's go in with no problem. dont get the greatest lift though, and sacrifice ride a little. with the 6's you get more lift and much better ride from what i have read. i remember reading something about having to notch the front horizontally to allow clearance for the bigger bag. anybody with any experience in this? pics would be great, and any info you have.

anyone else have any experience or opinions? any pics of the kind of lift you can get with the 2500's tryin to see if its worth all the extra trouble seeing how this is my first bag job and wont to eliminate all the potential problems i can.
