What kind of valves are you peeps runing, and have you had any problems with them? Cause I'm thinkn about investing in some 1/2" parker valves. Has anyone had problems with parker?

Parker has been around for a long time, and I haven't heard anything bad about them!

I run 1/2" SMC Valves which I think are Awesome! They have been super reliable and are VERY easy to rebuild.

Just my 2 pennies!

I've had friends that ran SMCs, they got stuck open or closed after a while. They needed cleaning every 6 months or so. I am running ASCOs, over a year now. No problems. A few close friends also run ASCOs, no problems from them either, and they've been running them for 5 or more years.

I have had a lot of friends run Asco Valves as well...

I think this also has a lot to do with where you mount them. Mine are covered and not exposed to the elements..

Mine, and almost everyone I know has em under the bed....if not IN the bed.

the friend who had the sticky SMCs was in the trunk of a caprice, and another was under the bed of a tacoma. BUT...I know more people that run smcs and never had problems...so they're good. just as most others are. lol.

I agree, smc's never let me down on my last truck.

The blitzluft blackjack valves are nice too. Never had one stick open.

The deal with me thinkn about parker valves is a friend of mine has gone an done some overhead door service work at a semi-local Parker-Hannifin plant and asked if we could buy valves from them. He was told that we could supposedly get the valves for somewhere around $10 a piece. My valves would prolly be going back into the same spot where the radio is factory, cause I've had problems with my M.I.C. manual valves since its gotten cold.
