ok, im installing my lower cando arms and i got the bushing out just fine. but there is a metal insert that needs to come out, and i cant get it out. i tried pressing it out and punching it out and no luck.i know i have seen a thread about this before but cant find it. any advice?

Just heat it up with the gas axe man. Thats what i did. Just have to be carefull.

if you can't press it out i don't know what to tell ya.... except try what ben said... heat it up

i was also told by seth and a couple other to use a sawzall and make a few cuts on the inside and punch it out.so im going to go buy a sawzall(my tools were stolen) and try it since it seems to be the most effective

yea it took about 2 months for mine to finally come in.but i wasnt in a hurry cause i was still building the frame

if you can get a welder in to it run a beed of weld thru it when it cools it will shink a bit and should tap out

i got it with a sawzall,two cuts and it punched right out.very easy.i just sent my arms off to be powder coated
