parking brake on bagged trucks

who still has theirs hooked up? when i got my 83 the guy disconnected the parking brake and got rid of everything. so now i am in the process of hooking it all back up to get inspected. the problem is how it hangs below the frame. how did everyone keep theirs. i will take some pics later to show what i am talking about. but it isn't just the cable that hangs low. right below the cab there is a mount for the cable that has been drug through and destroyed. i cut the one off my parts truck to use but now i have to figure a way to relocate it. i will try to post pics tomorrow.

move it? make a new bracket? i never saw one with it removed? lol so i dunno good luck

My standard cab has all E-Brake stuff removed. I guess my E-Brake is now my frame,lol.

i am in bell county. if i wasn't so far ahead on installing this thing i would have tossed your guy a few bucks for a sticker.

haha, i was actually thinking of making a gauge pod with the words parking brake below the lower switches.

yeah, that is what i am going to do. i was sitting around thinking about it and all i need is a new bracket with the cable mounted up over the bar instead of down under it. the guy that bagged this thing got rid of everything! heater too. he put the battery where the heater core was, so i had to cut out the firewall from my parts truck and weld it to my firewall and i am relocating the battery to the bed. oh well.

i got it figured out. so thanks for all the help guys.
