getting ready to bag the rear of my b2200 just finished the front ,on my other b2000 i have a bag over axle setup & im not really happy with the lift so my ? is wheres the best place to mount the bags to get the most lift & whats the best bag my b2000 was already bagged when i got it & i dont know what kind of bags they are ,they dont have any name,thanks for any & all help

A bag on bar setup will get you the most lift. The farther forward you mount the bag on the bar the more lift you will get, but the ride will be worse the farther ahead it is mounted. As for bags the slam specialties re-8's will be best for most lift.

As far as ride, I think the bag should be slightly close to the axle in comparison to total length. On a 25" bar for example, you would put the bag about 8-10 inches from the pivot on the axle. It makes for a nice smooth ride, and paired with a nice set of shocks its an excellent ride quality. The closer the bag to the axle the more firm the ride.

As far as a 'bag, I would recommend an Slam RE-7. It has the lift as well as the ride...

I just did the back with bags over axle with re 6s and the front lifts a bit more than the back.. so i would go with the 7s for sure.
