will these front bag brackets work?

these are the front bag brackets that came with my air ride kit.




botton one is 2" tall and top one is 3" tall. i've been reading the threads and looks like everyone is using a flat plate with gussets, which i think its the rear bag mount. i want to use which ever is easier since this is my first time.

not really, what you have there is a set of cups for a coilspring based vehicle - ie: s10/fullsize/caprice/etc. im sure someone will tell you that there are ways to make it work but imo its not worth the effort.

shouldnt be too hard to sell though, and buy the right stuff. or you could take them back to wherever you got them from, if your kit was supposed to be mazda-specific

Nope they wont. You want to get a front torsion bracket kit. Looks like this:
