Someone that worked on the car before I bought it decided they didn't want to hook up the rear brake lines. The hard line's cut really near the cab and there's a hard line running from wheel cylinder to wheel cylinder. One of my friends is going to help me run new hard lines and make stainless braided lines for the rear but I don't know how to tell him to do it.

Is it best to run a Tee right near the passenger wheel and just run a hardline to each wheel cylinder or is there a better way?

Anybody have any pictures?

There is a way Mazdas are supposed to be plumbed. There should be one line connecting one drum to the other. I believe the bleeder valve is on the DS. And there will be a block on the axle on the PS that the flex line connects to and feeds into the PS drum on a separate port. There is no bleeder on the PS drum.

There's no block on the axle. There is a second threaded port on the passenger side drum above the hard line that runs to the other drum that's open. On the driver's side, that same port is there but it's blocked off. Does the line go to that port?

This is how the break lines are supposed to be run

dont put a tee behind the cab...it is a pain and it is hard as hell to bleed even though it does clean the frame up nice...notice how on the pass. side there is a feed and return line going to it thats cause the pass side wont accept a bleeder valve dso you gotta put in another tee...just run them stock

Thanks, those pictures show EXACTLY what I needed to know. What paint did you use on your frame?

Its Duplicolor Under Coating.

I'll have to pick some of that up. It looks great.

Make sure you clean and primer the metal first, and give the undercoating adequate time to dry.

Thanks for the advice. Will any auto parts store carry that stuff?
