so i got around to finish rewiring up the air system on my truck. after seeing how mauch lift i get in the back i noticed im gonna need a longer rubber brake hose. does anyone know of a longer rubber line from another application that will fit? any ideas would be great

jeez how much lift do you get? your rubber line should be good for at least ten, prolly more.

check with your local speed / machine shop, they could probably make you one, or point you in the direction of a hose shop in town, other than that, if you have the thread size needed on either end, and the length you need, explorer / pro-comp makes longer braided lines for lifted trucks such as the toyotas, and one of those would probably fit.....

ill make it a mission this weekend to go the parts store to compare some lines. good idea on calling pro comp or explorer. oh heres a pic of the rear up. i think its about 18" or more of lift above the axle.

bags are WAY up on the lower bars. the upper brackets had to be tied in to each other to keep them from bending up. kinda of a bag tower brace. ill end up shortening the upper bars and mounting their brackets under that bag bar. then shocks. everything got a quick ass paint job to keep it from rusting. this thing lifts like mad. with 5/8" airline it reaches the top at mach speed. i think blazerpimp has the right idea with a chain bridge. i had one when this truck ran a 2 link and it doglegged like crazy. maybe ill try it again.

I get like 16 inches of lift had the same problem, i went to an oreilys that a friend worked at and we went to the back where they have all the order books and was able to find one from some kind of mazda car that had the same kind of connector. So make sure and bring the hose in with you, it helped alot. Maybe my guy is just really good, because there are some dumb asses in part stores.
