I want to do a 3" drop frnt and rear NO AIR!! I will have a 302 under the hood, and have heared you shouldn't use drop blocks, due to excesive vibration killing rearends? Anyone ha a setup like what I want? and what do I Do?

i had a hardbody with 4" angle blocks, monoleafed, raised leaf hanger, and cranked torsion bars, and drove it for close to 50,000 miles, and never had any problems with my rearend. the frame was about 1 1/2" off the ground, and i scrubbed EVERYWHERE, and the frame, as well as the rearend, held up fine. of course i couldn't go to a lot of places because of it.. but it was still low.

im not sure about running blocks but i wouldnt go pulling any leafs out due to the motor. i found out the hard way about axle wrap.

With the 5.0 you will get bad axle wrap which blocks make 10X worse. Sure you can mono leaf your truck with 85HP but tripple that and you have serious problems. I went through 2 two rear ends to learn this lesson.

yeah.. i guess you're right. i was running my stock ka24 motor in my nissan.. never really was into the motor swap thing with minitrucks. i love them, but i couldn't afford it. lol.

Weeman: You can run spindles up front and 3" Blocks out back.Just leave the springs intact.OR you could just put in a 4 link setup to help you plant the power to the pavement.IF you want to get some blocks I have a leftover set of 3" angled blocks.PM if interested.
