Keeps the front end off the ground. Shocks alone are not made to support the weight of a vehicle. Coil springs, leaf springs, and torsion bars ARE. Thats why in MOST vehicles, they have a shock, and spring or torsion bar.
my t bars are removed....on my white truck... but they are still on my green mazda with juice. i removed my due to the fact i'm seriously thinking about running resorvoir shocks up front as well as in the rear.....i just removed them cause my bags lift and lower the truck... if you keep them in you might get a better over all ride quality
mine are removed, and the kid i know had a couple trucks without them on, i know its probably not the safest thing, cheap way to drop the truck. i gota take some new pics.. and my setup is temp, ti'll i get air ride..
You guys...Chop out your bumpstops, get shorty shocks, flip the lower ball joints and RE-INDEX your torsion bars. No torsions=no springs. Your truck can ride really low and ride like a Cadillac if you do it right.
