i find my 1/2" dumps too fast. when you say you used reducers is it just like the little reducer fittings or are you talking about the flow control things?

not trying to jack your thread here draggin4life, sorry.

mazda23- i just went to lowes and got 3/8-1/8 reducers for the front. not the flow control. 1/2" dumps are way to fast if you are trying to drag.

i have the front bagged on my 90 and run 1/2" up and 1/2" dump.... i seriously hate the dump... i have 8 3/8" valves sitting on a shelf new in box... i havent gotten around to install them yet... i will most likely run 1/2"up and 3/8" dump once i bag the rear. it hops off the ground with 1 tap of the switch and slams down with another tap... its annoying as hell.

AWESOME, They take basically nothing to fill, they get massive lift, and they are soooooooo smooth!

Same setup for mine, although I have silencers for the rear and it helps a little, but the front UGH! I love laying it out when I park, but damn the front slams down with a quick touch of the switch. I'll do a video to make a point if anyone wants to show why 1/2" dump really sucks.

also i was thinking of going with a simple triangler 4 link anthing bad with that and dev hooked me up with 4 firestone bags and a rear bridge kit and front brakets and i have to say i love the prompt service.

I'm so cheap sometimes LOL!!! So as I said before, I have a silencers for my dumps, well I was looking at them tonight and had an idea. Because they are cone shape and flat at the tip, if you wrap your fingers around the sides and blow (SHADDUP!) through it, it's MUCH harder. So I grab some good ol' electrical tape and wind it around the sides. Put it back on and voila! Instant slow down. PLUS the more you leave unwrapped from the tip the faster it goes so you can kind of "adjust" it. I made 4 complete passes with the tape so it wont blow apart (hopefully). This is not permanent, just a quick basically free silencer mod that really works.

Again, I'll make a video tomorrow to show the difference.

EDIT: Here's that vid, ignore my lounge wear and flip fops. I also know I'm a member of the Big Belly Crew, just pay attention to how the silncer mod helps.
