Can this thing be removed or moved is it a proportioning valve? It on the drive side frame right were my notch is all the break lines come into it.

You can remove it. Just bypass it with the brake lines. This is part of the stock "anti-lock" brake system. The anti-lock on these trucks is so primative, it is like you don't have it anyway. Remove that part, disconnect the sensor on your rear diff and unplug the brain located under your drivers seat. You really don't have to unhook the wiring, but when you remove the valve, you will get an annoying light on your inst. cluster.

Sweet thank you for the info the plugs been broke off the rear diff for 10 years now. The first time i let the air out of it it broke off been looking at that damb idiot light for ten years now! LOL

is that why the light's on? wow... i'll have to look into that myself... well nm i just swapped to a old yota rear end. i just unplugged the light. ha ha
