i just got my truck running a week ago, after sitting for 6 months. but after driving it, the suspension feels like it does nothing. this is the bounciest fucker on the road, it absorbs nothing, i cringe when i see dips bumps holes rocks yadda yadda yadda. its not slammed dropped raked lowered at all, its lifted as far as the torsions go, and long shackles in the back.

after lookin at my front end when it was sitting i decided it all needs to be rebuilt. all the bushings are split, the balljoints are ripped right open and have no grease in 'em. i just ordered all the front end pieces, so im about to tackle that

but im just wondering is it always gonna be bouncy. it doesnt seem right, i can look at the shocks to, but man, do you think the ball joints will make it better

just a question, does anyone have the same problem...

i had a full-size chevy that the torsios were turned to lift it about 2in and it road pretty stiff so that could be your problem. did it ride smooth before you took it off the road

The torsions are your problem

nope its never been smooth, i just got home, and just noticing how much this thing hops, veeres, and is just annoying that its like this. i like the ride hight, are the 4x's any better, i would expect them to be.

well i guess i'll just accept it the way it is for now

thanks guys

sound like the shocks are completely shot, start with that first for the bouncey problem as for everything else, id still replace it,

I would also say that your up travel is limited. It may be that the shocks are limiting it too. IDK mine have always been lowered.
