do they sell a front mini air shock for our trucks? anyone tried to fab something up with like motor cycle air shock? yea i'm a newb sry..

but my current setup, is no torsion bars and i think the kid modded the bump stops and drop spindles.. thinkin my ride would probably be better with some air via an air shock? it would be like a very buget front small air ride..

a motorcycle air shock work, i seen some on ebay?

kinda like this, but this isnt air right?

That's a side port hydraulic cylinder.

do they sell something simular but in air? or an air cyclinder that can handle the load of no torsion bars

Why not bag it?

because my buddy will be tied up for a while working on his cars, and i dont have a welder + chop saw

put your torsion bars back in till you can afford to bag it

^^yup...you can still have it low , but have some spring/ travel. Don't leave it no torsion. Also, you can run an air shock on the front, but it still needs the support of the torsion and you need a custom shock tower. Air shocks are longer than the lowered shocks you should be running and the front end is too heavy for air shocks alone. Uncle Fester on SSM has a Ranger with two air shocks per side on a custom shock hoop that seems pretty neat, but if you are going to all that trouble, just bag it!

HEY! That is my truck! It was originally set up for airshocks but then I converted it over to juice with accumulators. Take everyone's advice and wait to bag it. You seem to think that you can just bolt in an air shock. You will need a welder and more to do airshocks. You cannot just bolt in an airshock. You will need to cut off the factory upper mount and then weld in a new one to do it like the pic for airshocks. Trust me I know

why not try a properly sized pneumatic cylinder?

Look for rear airshocks off of a late 70s camaro. Stem/loop. Will bolt in. VERY hard to find them I am told. Will still need a coilover with it.

OR...get a pneumatic cylinder/ram from like, northern tool or somethin.
