ok i want 2 get lower i have pulled the 2 middle leafs so now all i have is the main leaf and the overload along with 3 in blocks in the back and cranked tortions ok if i place the overload on top of the main will it do any type of damage 2 the truck in the long run???? i am tryin not 2 notch my frame just yet, i am also runnin z71s

I ran mine mono leafd with 3" blocks for 3 years...just a thought.

and please notch it. Cheap notch, not even all the way thru, or maybe just to the top of the rail, SAVE YOUR KIDNEYS!!!!

Based on what you have told us about your setup in the rear I would say you are fine to place the overload on top. The other option you might consider to get lower in the rear is to place a jack under front leaf spring perches, cut them off of the frame and then jack up the jack and re-weld them on higher. Basically it will sleeve the perch around the frame. You can gain about an inch to an inch and a half if I remember right. Oh yeah you definately are going to want to at least do a C notch your truck if you go any lower. I have been there and learned the hard way. read my post in the static drop thread and you can see all of the differnt suspension setups my truck has gone through.

if you run the overload on top you risk snapping the main leaf trust me i have done it
