OK, Im going to be doing an engine swap into my B2000. It will be a Ford 351w (fully built to a 427 stroker and later TT'ed) w/ C6 auto trans (also solidly built) into a mustang 8.8 posi rear end(Moser axles and strange eng. diff). Now I want to Lay frame but I also want to be able to lift and do some drag racing every now and then. My question is: Can I build the rear end for bags and be able to hold the rear for hard launches also? Or is this even possible? Any answers would be grand.

Its possible, although you probably wouldnt get the best launches. Ive seen a blazer with a twin turbo ls1 that was setup for drag racing with bags. I heard alot of tracks wont let you run though if they see the bags.

Bags are not legal on a track., They won't let you race, period. But a parallel 4-link with tunable mounts would be your best bet. And you could run ShockWaves so they could be replaced with coilovers for the track.

The electrical plug is for the "ABS" speed sensor.

The pipe plug on the back of the housing is for filling the diff oil.

The cap on the top is for a breather.

I can't think of any other plugs.

The plug on the bottom is the drain..
