How many leafs is everyone pulling when they lower, My Nissan was just main leaf and overload for a few years, I just got this Mazda last week and dropped it, But the 4 inch blocks and cranked torsions are cutting it, Anyone have a link to re-indexing the t-bars on these things as well, My Nissan tucked hard with just cranking the torsions down, Doesnt look like thats the case with the Mazda

Edit, I found a link for the re-index, How many notches does everyone go, I dont care if its a lil rough or bouncy, Im used to it from the other rides. I just want it slammed, but still daily drivable

I would run main leaf with overload and 3 in blocks on the back. Air shocks a help for a little adjustment. There are several threads on here about re-indexing your torsions, but the cliffs notes is as follows:
1) jack up vehicle so the suspension is at full droop. 2) lube the snot out of the adjuster bolts located about mid door each side. 3) remove adjuster bolt and pull on adjuster bat wing. Torsion bar will pull free. Re-index with the adjuster closer to the frame (clock wise on driver, counter clock wise on the passenger) about 4 notches seemed to work for me, but it may be trial and error to get it level. Get the shortest shocks you can find, hack out the bumpstop and mounting flange, re-locate the lower ball joint to on top of the lower control arm. Then have it aligned. The suspension forum on here has alot of good info with pictures. I highly recommend it. Good luck.

I already got some shocks I had for the Nissan but never put on before the bag process started, Adjuster bolts should be pretty loose still, I just cranked it down last week. With 2 pulled leafs and a 4 inch block ( thats what I got in there now, will this thing be sittin on frame? This is my 2nd vehicle, not trying to notch this one

bro take your leaf pack down to your local spring shop and get them de-arched. as you change your weight load of your truck plus it is un-safe. I know we all want to be low and this is just my 2 cents but we are already getting bother by the police and others for what we do. We have to make our trucks safe and better than stock.

i went with 5" blocks, and main and overload. I flipped both ball joints, and reindexed two splines. 3 was just too much, the adjuster bolt bracket went up into the frame. as i sit now, i am tuckin about 3/4" all the way around, rollin on the stock 14s, with 185/60 rubber.

I'll prolly just go main leaf an overload, My Nissan was that way for years. Even when I was driving it to and from Pa. going to school. De-Arching is ok, Costs more, usually a little rougher ride and limited drop. I hauled plenty of weight in my Nissan, And I know I cant put much in the Mazda, the truck can barely get out of its own way now. I'll just let I-295 de-arch mine on the way to and from work . Im also gonna reindex and flip the bolljoints for the front, and run some pinto shocks
