air/bed question

anyone got the rear on air and still have a useable bed? i'm tryin to git an idea of how i wanna do this but i was wondering if i'd lose the use of my bed with bags?

dude just lift the bedfloor.... yeah it would be more shallow but it would technically still be the bed

Explain what you want to use the bed for?

There will most likely have to be a notch cover, but other than that if you throw some sheet metal in there, you could use it for small things....

thats what i was thinkin gavin. thanks guys. i figured i'd hafta put a notch cover in. i wanna keep my gate, maybe swing it. already did that in my old truck.

it wont be used for much. i mean hell its only a mazda, ain't loadin fat chicks in it just usin it for things that wont fit in the caprice trunk.

i got the floor plan done up in my head. just usin the outter skins and gittin some sheetmetal to construct it.

im not BD'n it so how high up from stock would be good for the floor?

well to me like they said i would go with a raised bed floor that way you still have the use of the bed. then hide your tank and compressors under it thats what im been trying to talk DROPPED90 into doing.

imma raide my bed floor as well just to hide all the air ride stuff

thanks guys. soon as i can git a job (HAHAHAHAHA no chance here) i'm headin down to this shop that sells sheets of steel and i'm gonna learn to weld and hopefully build me a custom floor. was out there takin measurements today.

how much would i hafta raise it to cover the tank and compressor?

my old bed along with marcus's is raised five inches just to where the fender touches the bottom of the bed rail and it covers everything
