Ok so I want to lower my truck around 4-5 inches with blocks, but I read somewhere about something called a "flip kit" and I needed one, do I?

And also I'm not sure about front end, I have to crank the torsion bars whatt?! haha.
So my question is hows one go about doing this, and is that all i have to do?

Youll need a lowering block kit-not a flip kit for the rear. You can get one at most of the autopart stores for around $25 or so. Most places carry the 3-inch block kits, but you can order the 4-inch block kit that are angled & help keep the rear axle at the right angle after its been lowered. Another thing you can do in the rear is pull out the center leaf spring & be sure to cut down the rear bumpstops as well too or the rear will ride like ass lol!

To crank down the torsion bars youll need to jack the front up & get the tires off the ground. If you look under the truck youll see a bar that runs from the lower control arm to a crossmember, on the end of each bar youll see a bolt. That bolt allows you to raise or lower the front of the truck. Just turn the bolt-cant remember what direction lol & it will bring the truck down. Youll have to do this on both sides & you just adjust them to where you want the truck to sit. Oh & be sure to cut down or remove the bumpstops in the front too so the truck will have some suspension travel.

Make sure you count how many turns you loosen the bolt on the torsion bar so the truck will sit even when your done too.

if your axle mounts on top of the leafs then all you will need is a block kit (blocks and u bolts)

I'm blanking out here. which way do the angled blocks need to be mounted? towards the front or towards the rear?

from what i can remember, when it comes to angles blocks they have an arrow or some marking stamped on the block to show which way to mount them... its been a while since ive used angled blocks but i think my memory is still there
