Both hole in the spindle and the ball joint it self is tapered. Now how does the inch and a half that your supposed to get out of this work. I did it and only got maybe a little more than an half inch. I couldnt totally flip the ball joint upside down because the taper on both the spindle and ball joint. I cut out the bump stops and and the hump in the lower control arm. Does anyone know something I dont? Thanks in advance fellas!

i dont know where you heard youll get 1.5'' of drop from but you were lied to lol. usually gettin about 3/4" of drop from it and you dont actually flip anything you just take it from the bottom to the top.

O and also lol. I found that a 81-02 Nissan fronteer or 80-82 chevy Luv front shock is a very good shock for this setup (compress length= 8.000, full length= 11.75", total travel= 8.375)
