I ran firestone 2500s up front with no problem and great lift, I believe ryan is running slam 6s?

But I am switching to the new dominators 2500s up front I will get some pics as the progress comes.

No gauges, just the one on my tank, I might run 2 just for looks....

I didn't do any arm mods, well I did plate the bottom a -arm with some circle plate so the bag wouldn't rub. Other than that I had no problems with ball joint binding and what not with my 16s, and I got some nice lift.

Ah, I've got a three gauge thing with the gauges sittin here dyin to be dropped in. I started pullin some of the interior out, found some parts that the sun enjoyed so much they're extremely brittle. Defrost vents mainly. Any tips or should I just start findin replacements?

Also, is an 8in notch deep enough?

my truck lays frame on 26" tires with a notch that is 1-1/2" higher than the top of the frame at the bottom of the notch. I laid a 1-1/2" square tube across the top of the frame to set my notch height.

Trplezro, your truck is exactly the same as the truck that my dad had which was going to be my first ride, till he traded it in. a brown se-5 mazda. That truck is the reason that I liked mine so much when I first saw it.

Haha I think it was maroon originally

i am running re6s up front, probably have enough room to run re7s with little modification if i wanted to. and i may do that still. look at my interior pic in my garage. my gauges are just mounted under the dash, i also put two rocker switches in my gauge pod. i made the pod at work out of aluminum. good luck on the defrost vents. haha. the only good set i have seen has been in slammed83's truck. mine are screwed, my parts trucks are screwed, and all 3 trucks at the junkyard are done! haha.

Don't let them fool you there not mint mint, but getting them out of the truck is what killed my original pair. The set I got now would be in much better condition if I didn't have to literally yank the damn things out. You do no that plate that holds the vents in is metal right? your could always shave them or cut them out and get some billet ones of some sort..... just a thought.

Not a bad idea actually, I may look into that.
