this sounds like alot of questions i had before i bagged the front of mine. what i did was just spent a few months of doing some hardcore research and hours online searching and reading. ask plenty of questions and be open minded and just learn as much as you can and you will be able to do it just fine. goodluck on the studying.

check out the tech section, there are some awesome techs on doing everything you want to do. i buy all my stuff from dev at the bagshack on here. he will take good care of you. yes you can body drop later, imo it is actually better to bodydrop later. but you will need to decide what you want to do as far as the body drop. do you want to go traditional or stock floor? traditional, you cut the floor and let the cab fall and then weld in filler plates, that is the best way i can describe it. doing it that way you lose leg room, so if you are short it is no big deal. but i sat in my boys truck that has a 3" traditional b.d. and i felt like i was driving a go-kart. but i am 5'11" and it was a reg cab 89. now when you stock floor it, you will be building a new chassis. so it depends on what you want to do and how tall you are. haha.

i strongly suggest that you take some classes or screw around with some other stuff first before you start on the bag job. what type of welder did you buy? 110 or 220? and what brand? hope this helps man. we are all here to help out so feel free to ask any questions and do lots of research before you dive into it.

yup im readin up, i dont have the welder at my house, its at my cousins, and i will find otu the brand and that number too lol....but yeah thanks

idk how tall i am, but i think the traditional seems easier....imo, im just trying to learn on this truck....and try my hardest not to screw it up...once i get the hang of it, im gonna start slamming everything i can get my hands on XD

ok so i took the bed off my truck
and first off, let me ask, my gas tank has 6 lines runing to and from it, does this have to do with the emissions system, and has anyone ever bagged a truck with an emissions system, cuz it looks like alot a damn work to even touch....
anyway heres a cool pic of my truck with no bed, its new to me, so im stoked to share XD

Are you planning on keeping the stock tank or getting a fuel cell?

all i can say is this... buy goo parts.. bag this truck in your head and on paper 1000 times before you do it.. think about you options, as far as link system find out how you want to bag it.. bag over axle bag, behind axle or on link bar

it always scared me to see some one that doenst have experiance welding go out and bag something.. im not saying it cant be done, but i am saying do your research.. aside from your brakes, re building the suspension on a vehicle is seriuos work..

be careful and done rush it.. have someone there with you to help you... 2 heads are better than one.. have a person there that knows how to weld.. so he or she can tell you if your welds are good or not.. just becuase they may look good to you doenst mean they wont break when you hit the first pot hole..

all the best bro.. we all started some where...i learned i cant weld worth shit .. luckily my buddy is a certified welder, so he does my trucks, and i help him out with teh wiring, paint, and design.... the barter system is still alive and well in the automotive wolrd
