correct me if I am wrong (someone), but I think that by doing that, all you do is set your framerails on your axle.

Fyi, light duty trucks technicqally already have a flipped leaf, its under the axle not aboce fliping it upside down is the dumbst thing i have ever heard no offenxe, but its not smart or safe, dont do it.

Juat get blocks or pull a few leafs, cut the bump stops or remove them, much more you'll need to notch

Mazda trucks already have a "flipped" leaf pack. Depends on who's perspective you look through. Mid-size to fullsize trucks have their leaf spring pack on the top of the rearend.

Flipping a mazdas leaf pack and putting it on top of the rear end will do the oppostie of your intention. It will actually RAISE the rear.

If you wanna lover it, put in 3" drop blocks and no bigger between the leaf pack and rearend.

If the leaf pack was on top of the rearend, putting drop blocks in would actually be lifting blocks.

When the leaf pack is under the rearend, putting drop blocks in lowers it by pulling the leaf pack down. The leafs are connected to the chassis and it will cause the chassis to be pulled down because of the leafs.

When on top, blocks push the chassis upwards giving lift.

Make sense?

the leafs were flipped on my truck for over 2 years with no problems before i drug through the spring perch. but... that was with bags over axle so it gave the suspension support. doing it just static dropped would be a very bad idea. i also wont condone doing it when its bagged though, my truck was soo hacked up when i bought somebodies half done project thst after fixing everything else, i got burnt out and didnt want to mess with that part of the suspension.
