Just unbolt the anchor bolt and slide the t-bar out of the splines. Its easy. Check out the write up on re-indexing your t- bars. Then you might want to flip your ball joints and notch your control arms. There are really good wite ups in the tech forums. Maybe someone can post a link?

Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel. Remove anchor arm bolt and anchor arm. Remove torsion bar.

WHAT IF I CUT THEM
slammed dimensions   +1y
If you cut them with ANY tension still on them you could hurt yourself.

I wouldn't recommmend it. There is a lot of force on those. Besides, It takes mabe ten minutes to unbolt them. It is only two bolts. Make sure you put the truck on jack stands though. The suspension should be UNLOADED before you take the bars out.
