hey guys i was cranking down the torsions this weekend and the drivers side was hella tight. it felt like i was gonna break the bolt. i made it 5 turns and stopped cause i didn't want to break that bolt. then i went to the passenger side and it turned down like a breeze. so i went back to the drivers side and got 7. the drivers side was taking pretty much all the effort i could give on a 1/2 drive ratchet (around 50-60ft lbs). and the passenger side took nothing at all. i want to go further but i thought i'd check to see if any one else has encountered this.

any ideas?

and yes i gave the bolts a shoot of moovit.
and the truck was off the ground on jack stands.

they should come unbolt pretty easy if the front tires are off the ground, are u gonna just crank the torsions or re index the bar?

i was just gonna crank the torsions.

ur only gonna be able to get so much out of that without the hook at the end being dangerously close to the ground

from what i got i look alright now, i was hoping to go maybe another half inch; making the total drop maybe 1 3/4". im not looking to go super low. i live on a dirt road. i was thinking about re-indexing not sure if i should...

re-index is the way to go. Mine is down 3 or 4 notches and I ran the tension bolts back to where they were stock. It rides like stock just lower and the brackets aren't on the ground.

my drivers side was tight too but i sprayed it with lube and it was good .. then it was EASY!
