just go to an auto parts store and ask for shocks and measure em to what ya need ..

You will need to move the shock mount up, more than likely.... toxic shocks suck ass anyway

im not sure on what size you need but you have to watch out when ordering shocks from them. if you look closely on their chart it says to use those shocks if you used drop spindles but still have your torsions at stock height.

i know someone that just ordered a set for their datsun 521 and the same thing happened. their chart said to use drop spindles and he didnt notice. the funny part is that they dont even make drop spindles for that truck.

ya mine look like the ones that say drop spindles, but i didnt order those... i clicked the other ones... but it said 0-2 inch drop. i think the front has gone down a good 4-5 inches easy... i need to reindex the torsions.. anyone have the link to show how?

IF you leave the torsions alone just run some shocks for a 87 Izusu Pup.No need to re-index the bars. It'll be slammed as it is.PM Pont he did it to his.

yeah i ordered the ones for a 4in drop or something, and re-indexing my torsions is what i'm most likely gonna be doing next once i get some more tools. maybe then i wont bottom out as easily.

So these shocks for a 87 Izusu Pup are good with cranked torsions? My ext. cab got about 3" lower today, blocks in the back & cranked torsions up front. Dropped the front until it was level with the back. The shocks on it are probably original. lol They didn't put up any fight when pushed/pulled.

One of mine was already re indexed PO had some work done. I re indexed the other one and used the 87 pup shocks I also got new low profile bump stops. I heard you could just get rid of them and get rid of the mount as well but I kept mine. ride is pretty good and lost_b2200 I think mine had the stock shocks as well its been a few months and they have still to move (the old shocks are still in the corner) but yes they work great only thing is when you jack the truck up the shock will keep the wheel from going all the way down by about a inch. it wont hurt anything just letting you know before hand.
